Lead Change Differently

Effective change does not begin with disruption for disruption’s sake. It begins with the ability to recognize what no longer serves the mission, imagine what could be different, and lead people through the uncertainty that change creates. This course helps you examine how courage, relationships, trust, experimentation, and people development work together to create sustainable transformation.

Build Your EDGE

The EDGE Framework™ provides four interconnected leadership practices: ENVISION BOLDLY See beyond what currently exists and imagine what is possible. DRIVE CHANGE THROUGH RELATIONSHIPS Build trust, strengthen connections, and move change through people. GROW THROUGH EXPERIMENTATION Test ideas, learn from experience, adjust, and keep moving. EMPOWER & INSPIRE OTHERS Develop people, expand ownership, and prepare others to lead. EDGE is not a checklist. It is a set of leadership practices you continually strengthen.

Move From Insight to Action

Understanding leadership concepts is not enough. Throughout the course, you will reflect on your current leadership patterns, assess the relationships influencing your ability to lead change, identify opportunities for experimentation, and determine how you can develop greater ownership in others. You will leave with a focused leadership plan designed to help you apply what you have learned beyond the course.

About the Course

This course is designed for emerging and experienced leaders who are responsible for influencing people, processes, culture, or organizational change. It is especially relevant for managers, supervisors, educators, association and nonprofit leaders, committee and board leaders, organizational change agents, and professionals who know something needs to change, but want to lead that change more effectively. This course does not treat change as a purely strategic process. Because every change eventually reaches a person. You will examine the human side of transformation: trust, resistance, communication, relationships, courage, experimentation, ownership, and leadership legacy. The goal is not simply to help you generate better ideas. It is to strengthen your ability to move those ideas through people and into sustained action.

”
Before taking this course, I second guessed my ability to challenge the status quo a lot because I worried about being seen as problematic. After taking this course, I have an increased confidence in my ability to not only do it but continue thinking boldly and pushing forward with a vision that is best for my organization. Especially in spaces that I can use the EDGE framework. I feel more confident as a leader with more room to grow.
